Since I last updated my list of 100%-cruelty-free companies a very long time ago in June, a bunch of new companies have signed the Leaping Bunny Standard and have promised to never test their products on animals, and only buy ingredients from suppliers who never test on animals. Yay! Here they are — there are 28 new US companies, 56 new UK companies, 35 new Australian companies, and 1 new French company. You can shop at any of these and know you’re not indirectly harming any pocket pets!

The following brands of products have compiled with CCF’s non-animal testing criteria. Products which contain cruelly-derived ingredients are not included in the list. The symbols used in this list indicate the following:
v All products are suitable for vegans (Vegans do not use or consume any animal products)
sv Some products are suitable for vegans (please check individual labels)
Products meet standards of non-animal testing but some may contain animal ingredients.

Companies with the five year rolling rule/the 1985 cut off rule
CCF Licensees are listed in blue
CCF will not accredit a manufacturer if any of its products contain any ingredients:
- Derived from an animal killed specifically for the extraction of that ingredient
- Forcibly extracted from a live animal in a manner that occasioned pain or discomfort
- Derived from any wildlife
- That are by-products of the fur industry
- That are slaughterhouse by-products of a commercially significant value

Oh that’s too bad — not even the Canadian ones?
Yeah, I haven’t seen any of these available in the stores either. Oh wait, except for Zia — I have seen that at my local health food store — that’s exciting!

I haven’t seen any Canadian ones here. The city I live in is very mainstream brand.
