My name is Emily. This blog chronicles my spending a year (and counting!) of buying 100% cruelty-free cosmetic/household products (I have a list there in the sidebar -- it's called "cruelty-free companies" -- go look!) I also write about boycotting inhumane factory farming (buy humanely-raised animal products!), my life in the San Francisco bay area, and my dog, who I cook food for.

Hi Sia,

You're so sweet to keep me informed about eye drops! Unfortunately while I think Similasan looks like a great company, I don't count Similasan as a brand that doesn't test on animals -- I count it as a 50%-cruelty-free-company. I only count products that are on the CCIC's list as being 100%-cruelty-free. I have a list of 100%-cruelty free companies here:

http://www.livingcrueltyfree.com/2008/06/19/100-cruelty-free-companies/

and a list of 50%-cruelty-free companies here:

Regards,
